A typical day: Luna edition

Luna is feeling much better after her ordeal last week. She is back in action and going to "school" during the day. I thought she might be timid going back, but she is loving it as ever. She pretty much loses her mind with excitement every morning as we pull up to work. Her frantic lunges to get out of the car, through the windshield, make it difficult for me to parallel park. She can't wait calmly for me to let her out of HER DOOR. No. She lacks manners.

Once she has barreled through the office door she then spends the next 8 hours being Crazy-Pants-Luna-Exlposion.

I come by around lunchtime to take her out and it's all, "OMG! MAMA! I'M GOING TO JUMP ON YOU*! AND RUN ALL OVER! AND STEAL YOUR TREATS! AND JUMP ON YOU AGAIN! WAIT, I'M THIRSTY, LET ME FRANTICALLY DRINK SOME WATER! SPLASH DRIP SPLASH DRIP. OKAY, LET ME RUN BACK AND FORTH AND JUMP ON YOU AGAIN!"

She repeats this sequence for the 5 or 10 minutes that I'm at the office then it's back to playing with the dogs while I do my second round. I'm not really sure what she does while I'm gone, but I'm pretty sure it's not sleeping.

After my walks I come back to the office and it's the same thing all over again. EXTRA CAPS LOCK Crazy-Pants-Luna-Explosion. Until we get in the car, and she starts to slowly settle down. And by the time we get home and she eats dinner, she is out. Completely comatose.

This is what the rest of our night looks like. She likes to alternate between cuddling on me, and sprawling out like a giant lump of dog. In this position, the length of her body is equal to the length of the bed...longwise.

*Luna doesn't really jump on me, instead they are more like body checks. She kind of just flails her body in my general direction, with very little motor control.
