Today Fort Funston was overcast and moist. Not raining, but misty and gray. This type of weather does interesting things to the mud/sand/dirt/dust there. It makes the sandy parts sticky and the dirty parts muddy, and the dogs absolutely love this. Well, most of them do. Asha, for instance, does not appreciate this sort of weather. Though she will choose it over rain any day.
The more rugged dogs prefer this type of dirt and sand because it sticks to them when they roll in it! What wonderful luck. Happiness and joy!
This is what Charli looked like today after she spent at least 10 minutes rubbing only her face in the moist dirt. Why only her face? You will have to ask her. That's just how she likes it.
Leo enjoys the dirt in any and all weather conditions.
